Tesco holds Easter day event

On Saturday 15th April Tesco Brandon hosted their first Tesco Brandon Easter Day event in the Brandon Town Orchard between 11am and 3pm.

The sun was shining with a cold wind but this didn't stop the many who came along on the day where they could take part in games and free crafting activities, have a bite to eat or get their faces painted.

Tesco Brandon would like to thank Brandon Country Park, Bailey's Kitchen, Face-It Face Painting, Brightstar Designs & Photography and Brandon Town Council for use of the Orchard.

Every child was given a chocolate egg for colouring in an Easter picture, with two being chosen to win a prize. A big well done to Ryan and Marc who were the winning two.

In total the event raised £183 in aid of Diabetes UK and British Heart Foundation, Tesco National Charity Partners.

Tesco Brandon say they are hoping to organise more events in the Orchard when then weather is warmer. Thanks go to Lianne Spooner, Lydia Owen, Lauren Goetsch and Donna Goetsch from Tesco Brandon for their help on the day.
