Town prepares for carnival

The Suffolk flag is flying along the High Street and Market Hill is awash with colour as the town prepares for Brandon Carnival next weekend.

Brandon's biggest annual event returns on Sunday 4th June when, from 11am, Market Hill is filled with activities, entertainment, stalls, games and more.

There will be performances throughout the day from Shoestring Theatre Company, Zumba Lou Lou, Ishin Ryu Ju Jitsu and Brandon School of Dance.

Be sure to grab yourself a spot on London Road at 1pm, between the High Street and Royal British Legion, as local groups bring colour, music and dance to the carnival parade as it passes through.

Keep an eye out for the June edition of the Brandon Town Magazine, landing on your doormat any day now, where you will find the full programme of events and plan.

Visit the Brandon Carnival website will give you more information and you can follow Brandon Carnival on Facebook for regular updates.
