Community centre up for auction

A former community centre in Brandon is to be sold off at auction, arranged by Auction House East Anglia, on the 26th October this year.

The property, which is located on Warren Close just off Bury Road, has been set a guide price of £300,000.

On the Rightmove website, the description states: "The property offers scope for a number of commercial uses such as a place of worship or doctor's surgery but the site has been identified as suitable for residential development by Forest Heath District Council with an indicative capacity of 23 units.

"Within the grounds is a telecoms mast which is held on a lease to Vodafone, this generates an annual revenue of £4,750 adding an investment element to this exciting Lot.

"Potential development opportunities of this nature are particularly scarce and we certainly anticipate strong interest."

The auction will take place at the Holiday Inn (Wolsey Room) on London Road in Ipswich.
