Man threatened and pushed at park

Police are appealing for witnesses after receiving a report of common assault and threatening behaviour in Brandon. 

The incident occurred at around 12.30pm on Sunday 22 October in Brandon Country Park. 

The victim, a man aged in his 60s, was walking his dog when he was approached by a man, a woman and a teenage boy, who used threatening behaviour towards him, with the man pushing him several times. 

The suspects, who were all white and walking two pug dogs, are described as follows: 

  • The man; approximately 5ft 10in tall, stocky build, with stubble. He was wearing a red anorak with the hood up. 
  • The woman; approximately 5ft 3in tall, with black hair, and wearing a tweed jacket. 
  •  The boy; aged around 16-years-old, and with short hair. 

There were a number of other people reported to have been in the park at the time and officers are appealing for any potential witnesses to come forward. 

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Forest Heath Neighbourhood Response Team at Mildenhall Police Station on 101 quoting reference 68843/17.
