Brandon man charged over burglaries

Detectives in Norwich have charged a 40-year-old man with a series of burglaries. 

It follows incidents in the Norwich and Weeting area between 5th and 9th December. 

Enquiries led officers to arrest a man in Norwich yesterday, Sunday 9th December, who was questioned by detectives and later charged with offences. 

Karl Fuller, of no fixed abode but from Brandon, Suffolk, was charged with five counts of burglary:

  • On 5 December entered a property in Boundary Close, Weeting with intent to steal
  • On December 7 entered property in Oval Road, Norwich, stealing £3,000 in cash jewellery and a Hugo Boss watch
  • On December 8 entered a property in Marlpit Lane, Norwich with intent to steal   
  • On December 8 entered a property in Leas Court, Norwich, stealing watches and jewellery
  • Between 8 and 9 December entered a property in Lusher Rise and stole clothing, and a wallet containing cash and cards 

Fuller appeared at Norwich Magistrates Court this morning, Monday 10th December, where he was further remanded in custody to appear in court again on Monday 7th January 2019.
