One person has been taken to hospital following a road traffic collision just outside Brandon earlier this morning.
Police were called to a collision between two cars on the A1065 at 6.52am today, Wednesday 12th March.
An ambulance, a paramedic car, the East Anglian Air Ambulance and Suffolk Accident Rescue Service (SARS) were also in attendance.
The road was closed for some time while emergency services dealt with the incident and the vehicles were recovered.
Police have confirmed that one person, a woman in her 20s, has been taken to West Suffolk Hospital for further treatment.
One other person was assessed by the ambulance service at the scene but did not require any medical assistance.
The road was fully reopened at 10.21am.
